My son has a great teacher, Mr. Brown

Mrs. Brown always encourages her students including my son to read a lot, a lot....

Mrs. Brown sent parents a letter at the beginning of this semester. I quote one sentence from her letter:

"Limit television and video games, make trips to the library, make sure high-interest books and magazines are everywhere, talk about books together... all those things will make a magical difference."

another sentence from her letter:

"the child must read lots and lots and lots of books at his or her level. The child will do best if she and he can talk about those books with someone who loves reading-and loves the child-and who makes reading into a great pleasure."
