Valentines Day

Valentines Day 
         by my daughter (4th grade)

The tasty little Valentines tarts,
The mushy cards with lots of hearts.
The little candy that says "Be Mine!"
People with cards and waiting in line.
Passing my cards out one by one,
Come on! Let's have some fun!
Waiting for someone to give me hearts,
Getting a flower with thorns like darts!
Don't forget to clean the floor,
Now let's get out of the door!
