haha, get used to airports in Hawaii!

They are all like that.

I hate to say it, but you are the one to be blamed for this rude awakening about the flights, AND the parking situation.

1) never trust anyone but yourself to check flight schedule and make sure you would have enough time to catch connection. These days sometimes even you did everything right, a last minute "equipment change" would throw your connection to the air.

2) Kona is a very congested place - should you do a little research you would find out the parking situation long ago.
Hawaii is no Utah, that is for sure.
