A vacation is a vacation, not a project breaking down into phases with definite deadlines. If I am ready to accept the consequences of missing the connection flight I won't bother to check it. Call me a slacker.

The hotel/parking issue was at Waikiki. They got me parking at their sister hotel facility so it's all sorted out.

The only thing I can think of to complain now is the rain. Yeah it's not the greatest time to visit Hawaii to begin with. Oh well, I've got to see the island in misty rain. Not that bad.
