风光独特的死亡谷 - Death Valley NP

最近在整理以前的游记，贴在我的博客里。以后看起来，也方便。

我是2005年的春假去的死亡谷。那年的降雨量是历史以来的第二高，谷里鲜花盛开，绿水细流。大自然用山做画板，云为笔，花为装饰，在那里为我们面前展现出一幅幅恢宏壮丽，美丽动人的图卷。

死亡谷国家公园位于加州境内，这是一个带状的沙漠地带。据地质学家考证，死亡谷从前是一个盐湖，後来乾枯之後，加上处山脉的背风面，没有雨水的滋润，於形成现在这样的景观。死亡谷最特殊的是奇特的地质景观，沙丘、砂岩脊、彩色岩、火山口、盐湖分布其中。死亡谷非常酷热，1913年曾创下地表气温达华氏134℃(摄氏约54℃)的高温记录。由於夏天太热(6月到9月的平均温度超过摄氏50℃)，通常旅客多利用冬天前往。在太阳之下，由於死亡谷的荒凉，竟会让人有不寒而栗的感觉，令访客留下深刻的印象。近年来，也有不少爱冒险的欧洲客不畏酷热，专程在夏季前来挑战死亡谷。

Furnace Creek: 这是位於死亡谷中间的小镇，已经是在海平面以下178英尺了，这儿有博物馆、游客中心及旅馆餐厅等。也有一些出售纪念品的商店 。由此往南沿著267号公路走60哩可以到Scotty's Castle。往北走约15英哩可以到达恶水(Bad Water)。

Devils Gold Course: 这个高尔夫球场其实是一片干沽的盐湖湖底，所以有很大一片的结晶盐，

坦塔司岩标高1669米，由此可以眺望深谷，景色壮丽。

Bad water距离Furnace Creek约30公里远，这是昔日盐湖所留下的遗迹，现在只有一个盐水池了。Bad Water位於海平面下282米，是西半球的最低点。

Scotty's Castle: 由Furnace Creek往南沿著267号公路走60哩，可以 到史考特城堡。城堡位於死谷的北端，它是传奇人物史考特于1920年所建，这是一栋西班牙风格的大宅院，却建立于不毛之地的沙漠之中，里面陈设豪华，又有各种独特的机关，其冷气系 统也是独一无二的。

14. Salt Creek里的小鱼，生命顽强，从淡水鱼变成咸水鱼。这其中的痛苦演变是可想而知的。生命在强者面前无限延伸。

15. 夕阳下的Sand Dunes, 果然异常美丽， 就象到了撒哈拉大沙漠。。。。

17. 突然起大风， 赶紧撤呀！我连滚带爬的回到了车上， 已经是满嘴满鼻的沙子。大家互相看看各自狼狈的样子，都哈哈大笑。
