Last trip before this, we had a car for a few days and we only drove it 2 times into city center, and gave up driving in the city. (we drove to Versailles, Fontainebleau and another chateau built by the treasuror of Louis XIV time, but I forgot the name of the chateau.)
The major good thing this trip was the lodging - IC Le Grand is very central so it is extremely convenient. The Roissy Bus is around the corner from accross the street. Hotel room has windows that can fully open. The flat panel TV has decent English channels (CNN, CNBC Europe, and even Bloomberg), though it also has several Japanese and Arab channels. OK size (27sq meter) room after the first night. Good value for using points. (saved probably 380 euro a night).
