I have no doubt about what you said is true. And I agreed with you that I am gonna race to the West and race back home from there (either by car or air).

But I don't feel like a race when we are there. And for sure I will not race to see all the scenic spots even if it means to skip some or half of them.

On a second thought, taking a challenging of such itself is enjoyable experience as long as the family is capable of doing so at the time. And I'd also like my kids to do that too when they grow up.
