you are right, I use the wrong word.

But I have been Mexico office 4 times , showed them all the document, even an email from US immigration office: the new I-20 without previous entry stamp is still a valid I-20.
The officer insist: without a stamp , the I-20 is not activated , so I can not give you visa.

I learned a lesson from you, thanks, but be careful with your words too
