AMEX (not all), Diner. Not all MC or VISA provide car insurance. Always rent car with a credit card that has this benefit.

The insurance provided is Secondary insurance for domestic rental (there are caps and limitations of course). If your own car insurance does not have comprehensive, or not cover out of state, then the secondary insurance becomes Primary.

Just want to bring out the subtlety here.
