Economics as the fundamental: the world is entering some chaotic state with unpredictable future. China has good chance to prosper but the west might be able to stay on top too, though likely wobbly. And big nations like India will enter the stage to compete. The overall picture isn't that clear.
Colonialism as the fundamental: as I have envisioning in the wxc for a while, the west and the world will go through a process of the decomposition of colonialism. US and Canada will split into smaller states. Australia (and now, Israel) will cease to exist. The global south will grow, orderly. The overall picture is clear.
