My main concern is, in general it can't be done that way (I may be wrong). Then how should an AI decide on the property of the sum without going into infinity? Of course, when some series get very difficult and bizarre, even humans are helpless. Basically, I am employing this specific problem in attempt to illustrate the possible limitations in AI regarding certain types of decision-making.
