Forms of type 2 can only be brought about by true genius. They come directly from 覺性 . The forms somehow lose their boundaries and no longer serve like architectural entities framing the essences本貭. Rather, they are more like firstborn expressions of their singularities in the perceivable world, and there is little more than that.
It is easier to distinguish these two types of forms in the arts. For instance, some passages by Beethoven, as if The Will speaks for itself. The listener has no need to register the particular sequences of musical notes. Other composers, no matter how accomplished, Wagner or Tchaikovsky, write "renditions", not of The Will. So the listener must appreciate the actual sequences of musical notes.
This quality can be found in works by some other individuals of true genius in a variety of disciplines.
In this sense, so-called talent 才華 is worthless, since it can't access 覺性 , or The Will - a term similar enough in western literature.
This shorter piece is one of my favorites by Beethoven. The Will speaks for itself in a prestine manner without flowery decorations. One can experience the same quality (though not the same style) in Van Gogh or Bruce Lee.
