but your way of expression suggests that you are really demanding "freedom"- freedom for the talented to maximize the expression of their talents.

The not-so-talented demand "fairness" too, but what they are after is closer to "evenness" -均.

Both demands should be respected, but they point to different things. The former to ever-increasing unevenness, the later more to humanitarianism.

I agree with niersi 大师 that 人天赋和贡献的差别没那么大。贫富差距原因1。 运气 2。巧取豪夺. Therefore, in my observation, most so-called talented are not so much different from "土匪刁民". So, I think you should avoid these terms.

Of course, there are some truly extraordinarily gifted individuals, but they are rare. And typically they are not so much after what they can get in return. For instance, Maxwell, whose theory laid the foundation of modern technology from which Zuckerberg made his fortune, didn't even become wealthy, and he seemed OK about it.
