現在我反而覺得現代人還是不要立志的好。能愿意"學好"已经很不錯了。

This is subject to the reality that the modern world is too crowded with people and materials and the people are too greedy. Their 志 is mostly just to compete and win. This will create more miseries in this already jammed world.

Those with true 志 are typically奇人 to begin with and are rather unique. Often they outperform themselves without even knowing it. 孫、毛、李小龍,乃至張純如和熊十力自己都是這樣的人。
