It could be the other way round

My girlfriend had a beautiful childhood. Well loved and spoiled by everybody in the family. She is so spoiled so she is selfish and had a hard time finding a good relationship even though she is goodlooking and very successful. Eventually she had to marry down and life started to go downhill for her.
