Chinese civilization included. It has survived others since it is more comprehensive (not perfect) as many have noticed: It is spiritual though not as much as Indian civilization. It is technological though not as much western civilization.
This comprehensiveness roots in the Chinese philosophy of 變 as revealed in 易經 . Those qualities as mentioned such as 寬容，接纳 are just consequences to this pivotal philosophy.
Chinese civilization later entered a stage of stagnancy or doldrums only because it was then old. Western civilization will eventually enter such a stage too when it becomes old enough. Actually we are already seeing the once open minded Americans refusing to learn from others.
