China's progress is obvious unless one is blind or pretending blind to see it. Those who see it already see it. Those who pretend not seeing it wouldn't stop pretending. Therefore this type of writing has no proper audience after all. It only serves to suggest its author as a self-absorbed, boastful nationalist.
