俺理解的忍辱

看到花菜转的关于忍辱的文章，想起前两天读《金刚经》时，想到忍和辱的意思可能与我们日常的理解有所不同。

简单地说，侮辱只是辱的一个特别的意思，更为基本的意思是“处于低微”，比如不辱使命就是不低于预期地完成使命。

这样，忍辱，就不只是忍受侮辱。

忍，一般来就是忍受。但是在佛教中，忍还有一个意思就是安然处之。例子是，忍有两种，其中一种叫众生忍。众生忍的含义，一是安然接受屈辱，二是安然接受赞誉----两都都跟没发生一样。（参考了https://www.fojiaotv.net/a11/21）

可知忍辱的本义，是安处于卑微渺小。这个道理，跟《老子》夸奖水的道理是一样的。

并不是忍了辱之后会得到功德，而是安于辱本身就是理想。

当然，只是俺的理解。
