by others who don't know what's going on.  Why did Eckhart Tolle choose his first name as "Eckhart"?  Because he wants to honor a 13th century Christian mystic called Eckhart Meister.  That person is the real Eckhart.  Mr. Tolle wanted to honor him because they share the same understanding so he changed his first to Eckhart.
