I can borrow a copy and finish it by the end of this year. I enjoy reading his short stories, such as My Best Soldier, Saboteur, The Bridegroom, etc. War Trash and Waiting were good ones but they took me quite a bit time to finish. I felt depressed by reading them but not as driven crazy as the novel Crazed being written. I like the way he told the stories by mirroring the language we used to have for the times in the past. As a non-English native, he may not be able to write as easily and smoothly as John Grisham, David Baldacci, Michael Connelly or Dennis Lehane, but to me, he is one of the finest storytellers.
