近日毛阿敏的夫君解直锟先生因心肌梗死而离世。据悉解直锟先生生前非常喜欢诗人朗费罗的“生命礼赞”(A Psalm of Life )。这首诗也是我的最爱。那脍炙人口的诗句“Art is long , and time is fleeting.” (智艺无穷，时光飞逝)更是我的座右铭。
“生命礼赞” 是美国诗人亨利·沃兹沃斯·朗费罗(Herry Wadsworth Longfellow) 写的。诗人生长在缅因州的波特兰城，在这首诗中，诗人倾诉了对生命之美的爱，充满了对人生的热情，向人们道出了生命的真谛，用积极的姿态去面对人生。诗人希望所有的人都能站起来，做一个生活的强者。
这首歌颂生命之美的名诗为世人所爱，所传颂，“诗品”云：“动天地，感鬼神，莫近于诗”。此诗之所以有如此热度，在于它是人们心灵深处的颤动。也就有了很多翻译的版本。下面是百度上的一个译本。在众多的译文中，有现代版，文言版，律诗版等，尚未见到诗经版本。吾沿用原诗中隔行押韵的形式，斗胆尝试了一版，抄录文尾，以抛砖引玉。
人生礼赞--朗费罗
不要在哀伤的诗句里对我说，人生不过是一场幻梦！
——昏睡的灵魂等于是死的，
事物的真相和外表不同，
人生是真切的！人生是实在的！
它的归宿并不是荒坟；
“你本是尘土，仍要归于尘土”，
这话说的并不是灵魂。
我们命定的目标和道路
不是享乐，也不是受苦；
而是行动，在每个明天
都要比今天前进一步。
艺术永恒、时光飞逝，
