Starting from August 18, 2016 Nikita Anisimov was appointed Acting President of Far Eastern Federal University. The relevant order was signed by the Russian Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov.
Nikita Yu. Anisimov was born February 20, 1978 in Khimki, Moscow Oblast. In 1998 he graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University. In 2001 he was awarded a PhD degree in Physics and Mathematics.
From 2002 to 2013 he worked in Lomonosov Moscow State University in posts of: Chief Specialist, Head of Department, Deputy Vice-Rector, Vice Chairman of the Central Admissions Committee, Director of the Institute for Retraining and Professional Development, and Vice-Rector. From 2007 to 2009 he worked as the Executive Secretary of the Russian Council of School Olympiads.
From 2013 Nikita Anisimov was the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, First Vice-Rector, and Acting Rector of Moscow State University of Mechanical Engineering (MAMI).
