最近刚读完Manchester's Last Lion (first and second volume) but was a bit disappointed. His simple minded approach to the pre-war analysis bored me to death. Could use something better.
I find it increasly hard to rely on the recommended book list from US-based website (NY times, Amazon)--the average readers here do not have much taste or intelligence.
