what's the point?

the paianist is a hopeless musician only cares about the music.

The boy in Europa Europa is an very ordinary Jewish boy who trys to survive.

......

The above are all movies about ordinary people in the war...we are not arguing who are the main characters in the movie. We are arguing how to tell a stroy...in what way, that's the point.
