一个美国红脖子的故事-1

这位朋友并非通常定义的红脖子，脖子不红，虽然下地种菜，养鸡。认识他是通过他的女朋友，是我们村的一位消化道内科医生，医生是马来西亚来的华裔。医生的胃口还是中国胃，农村没有大华之类的，只好自力更生，重担都落到了她的红脖子男朋友的肩上。整个后院被开发成亚洲蔬菜农场，品种包罗万象，连茼蒿都有的吃。同时养鸡，除了肉，蛋，还提供有机肥。因为我们村处于半沙漠地带，他还设计按装了灌溉系统。他俩可以远足度假几个星期都不需要担心家里的菜园子。收成极好，我们家成了受益者，总能吃上新鲜健康可口的中国蔬菜。
