the complexity of the natural world is overwhelming. We need to decide what in the world to attend to and what to ignore. 

不同的人做不同的选择，不仅看到的现象不同，即使看到同样的现象也可能会得出不同的结论，产生不同的行为。

不管你凝视世界的哪一个角落，你都会发现哪里很复杂。所以自己能做的就是明确自己想干什么，专注于自己想做的事情，别的可以忽略。
