The Unwalled Hour
What seizes me right now is the light
that splashes onto the wall,
washes it, bleaches it, and
then diminishes it
also the wall
between me and dreams
from last night
and nights even before
those nocturnal adventures
alone
in the hidden realms
sometimes are the soul crafts
sheltering and healing
the broken
in the unreachable
and still unstoppable darkness crawling
day and night
now in the main of light
those remnants
of dreams and memories
dissolve into the unwalled hour
