You can still see the consequences in people developed from that era here in WXC.  These qualities have turned against the development of China as a culture by now (likely long before).

I don't know who 张枣 is. The greatest cultural figure from then is 海子 in my view. Perhaps as well the only truly immortal one, though I didn't get to read his works long after his early death.
