The second puzzle  --  The Weight Problem of Bachet de Meziriac

 

A business man has a weight of 40 pounds.  Unfortunately he dropped his weight and this weight was broken into 4 pieces.  Fortunately, each piece is still of integer pounds, i.e. the number of the pounds of each piece is still an integer.  Meanwhile, it is amazing that using these four pieces, this business man can weigh anything of integer pounds from 1 - 40 pounds.  How much does each of this four pieces weigh?
