all the great places are beautiful differently in different seasons. but you usually dont get opportunities to live there long enough to experience it all... i like to assign one season to each city and think that season represents that city the best. maybe a little arbitrary, but it sure helps me to pick my first time to be there... beijing/autumn, tokyo/spring, new york/summer, berlin/winter, etc...
