My parents just came back from China but insisted on seeing their beloved grand children on Saturday, so we shipped them over after the swimming lesson. Then my hu*****and and I decided to catch the latest Bond movie, Skyfall.
A good movie by and large. I kind of like the idea of a woman being at the helm of the British top spy agency and of 007 having to answer to a she. However, it looks like that would no longer be the case at least with the next Bond movie.
The movie was over 2 hours, and it was past 7:30pm when we got out of the theater. We set on to have a quick dinner so that we could go pick up the kids in a reasonable hour.
The venue we picked was a Japanese restaurant, almost right next door to the movie theater and that could not be any more convenient.
The service was very prompt. We ordered hamachi sashimi as an appetizer.
Very very fresh...
I ordered an A's Roll - soft shell crab, avocado and unagi..
My hu*****and's order - Caterpillar Roll that also had unagi and avocado..
No doubt that both of us love unagi and avocado! The rolls were both superb..
My hu*****and finished the meal with an order of moji.
Great food except that they did not give out complimentary edamame :-(.
All in all a good dinner though..
To finish the blog, I would like to share two outfits.
One was form fitting -
