About a couple of years ago after I discovered a web site called Purseblog I became a purse addict, I loved how a good bag can accessorize any type of outfit or look. On most of days, I don't dress fashionable at all, but still love to carry a nice bag.
I happened to love a few of designer bags - I inherited a 90% new Vuitton Neo bag about 10 years ago and it retains its shape and color every well and still looks like the day I got it except some small lines at the bottom. so I trust the big name for the look, the material, craftsmanship and quality. Collecting handbags was also my interest, addiction, obsession and hobby because it made ME feel good. I don't do it for anyone else. Actually, most of friends think it's crazy to spend this much on a bag, but to each his own, they have their interests and I have mine. I once said, "if it makes YOU happy, why not? "
But until recent, I started losing excitement for handbags. Partially because I found photography is more fulfilling - a good photo can last more than a life time, but most important reason is that we're in the midst of a global economic recession and the financial markets having been chaotic and too many are out of jobs. I really need to put money for some good uses.
So over the course of 3 years, I have accumulated a small number of handbags, out of which I use most often are the Balenciaga Classic City - the leather is soft but thickness is on the thin side of department, the weight and the color were the major selling points so I pulled the trigger once Neiman offered Gift card for purchase; I also like to carry a few andbags like Jimmy Choo, Prada I own because they don't need special care.
