diamond ring

Thinking to buy a diamond ring for anniversary  ...  1 carat, HI color, and I-2 clarity, about $2800,  is that a fair price?  do I need to buy the life time warranty ($250+)?  

looking for opinions from the experience fashion MeiMeis ...
