US students need different survival skills

My Chick is a rising 9th grader. Two month ago, he browed Muhanmud Ali's biography(600 pages) within 3 hours and cooked up a reading report within one hour. It is very hard to imagine such a speed for most college students who come from China.

After a group project has been assigned, a student need to be very savvy in picking up partners, otherwise he/she could have a nightmare. For my chick, his guideline is to pick up girls because girls are more serious and careful about their grades. I remember he once got a B in a solar energy project, when he stood up to beef it up, only girls would like to lead him hands.
