If I remember it correctly, you said in the closing package they included the violation and you signed for it.  If that is true you can't sue the seller.

But if you signed for it, I don't see how you can even sue your attorney.  But at least that's more proximate to the cause to your loss. 

Most attorney have malpractice insurance.  Maybe you should start from there.
