申请顶级州大本州居民还是很有优势的。以UCLA 录取的SAT成绩为例。

这是UCLA 的SAT数据，25th percentile SAT score,录取的本州和外州居民的分数分别是1290 和 1440， 去上学的本州和外州的分别是1230 和1390。可能这种现象对其他好的州大都存在。
