if this is an LLC, you can add a member to an LLC at anytime. usually the State does not know how many member a LLC has. as long as you have one member registered, it is ok. Adding a new member usually means you will need to setup an Operating Agreement. But it is not strictly necessary. It is still recommended because the more formalistic you are, the stronger the liability protection you will get.
