我装修补过的东西。年代可能有误，但不会差太多。
1. In 2002, installed two garage door openers.
2002 年买的地，看着建起来的新房，3个邻居家的garage door opener都是professional装的。室友说让professional去装，我说他们也是从装第一次开始的。所以我自己装了。照着opener的说明书，看着邻居家装好的样子，用 stud finder找出哪里有在dry wall里面的木头, 钻孔，把铁条装好，装好放链子的柱子，链子，opener，开关，红外发摄及接受器，key pads, programmed the code for remote controls。
注意两个装得不一样，第二个省了点材料:

5. In 2018, replacement of a heating element in a water heater. Before the replacement, water for shower was not hot, and I also found sparks on the power part of the heater. Notice below the protective part of the heating element was broken and exposed (in water if in the heater). I was lucky not being killed by exposure of the heating element in water to 110 V AC:
6. 2018, replacement of toilet draining piece, this one is much quieter and uses less water:

7. 2018, replaced the kitchen faucet. Original brand was Moen, it is said their piece is life time warrentee, but I did not want to wait so bought a Kohler brand：

10. In 2017， fixed a wheel of a small cart （drilled a hole in the axle and added a cotton pin), bought from next street of my house for $3 (asked for $10, offered $3, the deal done). Repaired it with more than $15:

11. In 2020, fixed the handle of a water hose rail (abandoned by a neighbor in 2003):

12. in 2018, made a small cart，the metal frame and wheel were from neighbor's junk (没用过一次，也不知道用不用，咸的）:
13. in 2016, built a small garden (4.5x5.5 meter):
14. Planted 6-8 apple and pear trees (this is the fifth year) from seeds, gave another 4-5 to neighbors and friends:
