A story: There are 50 students in one class. Only one can be enrolled to the Stanford University. The school decides to have a two hour closed book exam. The one with the greatest score will be the one to Stanford. During the exam, when the time is almost up, a student suddenly stated that he had a severe abdominal pain and wanted to use a restroom. One student next to him wanted to escort him to the restroom. Other two students stated similar problems and wanted to use restroom as well. The teacher allowed this. Once these students came back to the classroom, the time is up but they requested the teacher to give them extra 15 minutes so did the teacher. Finally, the student with the severe abdominal pain was the one with the highest score. More than 20 students in this class didn't think this process was fair to them or rest of students in the class due to the previously stated rules so they decided to report this event to the school principal. The principal replied "Your score is your score, whether those four students were fraudulent or not, their scores are nothing to do with your score." Do you agree with this principal's conclusion? I don't.
