我给这位议员RD回了信，提出了朱市长在听证会上说的：The state sent out 1.8 million mail-in ballots and received back 1.4 million, but 2.5 million were counted as votes for president.

RD回信说：that information is absolutely false. The 1.8 million number is from the June primary election while the 2.5 million number is from the November election.

到底谁说的是真的？如果RD说的是事实，我不明白为什么老朱没有调查清楚就说呢？
