Come on folks, I thought we live in the era of internet. You really don't bother to do some basic due diligence to fact check what you read? The verbiage showing that China is going to recognize the dual nationalities is part of the proposal raised by a guy named 李崴, a member of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. You can find his whole proposal in below link. But pay attention to the time stamp, which is 2016.

Currently China doesn't recognize the dual nationalities and the law clearly says your Chinese nationality will be automatically voided if you obtain the foreign one. Also there is no sign that China will revise the law in the foreseeable future. But you know China, they could change anything at anytime, right? I can read somebody's mind. Or could it be the case this guy resubmitted his proposal recently without a single word change? I didn't find anything yet. I would appreciate if you could show me to make me alert.
The funny thing is I can't say those social medias spread the rumor because it's not. They just play the trick about the time stamp.
I would feel sorry if this old news makes you more nervous on top of so many other bad thins ongoing. That's why I try to provide some clarification. Don't thank me. My name is 雷锋。
