Leo is a branch of Bloch.

The main difference between leo & regular Bloch slippers is that Leo has cotton canvas upper and Bloch has soft leather upper.

Leather shoes are usually recommended for younger dancers. They are more durable, but take longer time to break in.

Canvas ballet shoes are prefered by advanced dancers.  Here are a few reasons:

• They immediately fit your feet better.
• Canvas shoes stretch to accommodate your foot shape.
• The suede on the bottom of canvas shoes provides better traction.
• They’re easier to clean.
• They breathe, which reduces fungus and germs (and smell better!)
• Canvas shoes have greater sensitivity making it easier to feel the floor as you dance.
• Canvas shoes are cheaper and easier to replace.
