The Sheltering Sky: Traveller, Tourist, & Half and Half

在做一件让我大脑将近崩溃的事，所以想给脑子做个spa。

上次在讲 Why into the Wild? 的时候，就想介绍电影 The Sheltering Sky。

电影围绕三个主要人物，丈夫Port Moresby，妻子Kit Moresby和一个追随者Tunner。电影一开始就讲 travellers 和 tourists 的区别：A tourist is someone who thinks about going home the moment they arrive . Whereas a traveler might not come back at all. Port 应该是 traveller, Turner 是 tourist, Kit 是 half and half.

Port Moresby: Well, terra firma.
Tunner: We're probably the first tourists they've had since the war.
Kit Moresby: Tunner, we're not tourists. We're travelers.
Tunner: Oh. What's the difference?
Port Moresby: A tourist is someone who thinks about going home the moment they arrive, Tunner.
Kit Moresby: Whereas a traveler might not come back at all.
Tunner: You mean *I'm* a tourist.
Kit Moresby: Yes, Tunner. And I'm half and half.

Traveller Port 途中去世，half and half Kit 走向了 traveller 那一 half。。。

Anyway, here is the trailer:
