刘禹锡 
 
自古逢秋悲寂寥，
我言秋日胜春潮。
晴空一鹤排云上，
便引诗情到碧霄。

44. Autumn Verse

Since old times, autumn provokes lonely sighs,
‘Tis more radiant than spring in my eyes.
To the clear air through the clouds a crane flies,
That takes with it th’ inspired poetic rhymes.
