刘禹锡 
 
自古逢秋悲寂寥，
我言秋日胜春潮。
晴空一鹤排云上，
便引诗情到碧霄。

44. Autumn Verse
 
Liu Yuxi
 
Since old times, autumn provokes lonely sighs,
‘Tis more radiant than spring in my eyes.
To the clear air through the clouds a crane flies,
That takes with it th’ inspired poetic rhymes.
