如果没有小孩的话，可以考虑GSD rescue organizations.

关键是看狗的性情（temperament）和健康。  

如果有小孩的话，最好从一个信誉好的GSD breeder哪里买 （不是所有的breeder 都在乎狗的性情),  最好从小puppy开始养，并注意训练。
