and they decide they can't keep the kitten, please give the kitten back to you.  Many people fall in love with kittens because they're so cute, but if they don't have experience, or if a family member turns out to be allergic, they may fall out of love soon.  So it's important to let them know that you're always ready to take the kittens back if they decide not to keep them.  This would, hopefully, prevent them from just dumping the kitten somewhere.
