when you're out of town. It's unhealthy for a kitty to hold their pee and poop for more than a day. It's especially bad for boy cats, as they can easily get a blockage, which is life-threatening. If your family really don't want to clean, you should consider getting a self-cleaning automatic litter box, see if your boy will adjust to it.
