-You need to renew your EAD now because noone can assure that you will get the green card before Oct. or soon. The offer letter had better address when you begin to work specifically.

-It is OK for you to work in Oct.

因此我只能等绿卡批了才能工作，移民局会接受这样的回复吗？
-Techncally, fine, but practically it may not because you do not know when you will get the GC and thus, USCIS may not be conceniced such a job offer, especially it is research position.

现在LG在同一学校有稳定工作，孩子也在这里上学，这些能使移民官认为我有足够理由换工作和足够的移民愿望？
-It is irrelevant to 换工作和足够的移民愿望. It is just whether you are or will be employed in the same/similar area.
