I am seriously considering Everest Base Camp trekking. I’ve checked out several travel agent web sites. Basically they have a group of Sherpas and porters to do everything for the trekkers/tourists. They set up tents, cook the meals, and carry stuff for you. Although you lose the opportunity to adventure on your own (which I normally do), for people like me who has never done any trekking and has the tendency to pamper herself, this type of tourist trekking maybe a better choice.
